A landscape architect designs outdoor public areas, landmarks and structures to beautify spaces. As our cities become overcrowded, it becomes more important for architects and landscape architects to work together to protect our environment. Students will become involve in a challenge to improve one section of NYC and work with a landscape architectural firm to understand the design process from start to finish. Students will also design either skyscrapers, buildings or parks during the week. The week would not be complete without a visit to the Architectural Center of NY.
