Learning new languages is not just fun but also can prove to be beneficial later in life, either in your education or in your careers.

5) Discover Boating July 18-22, 2016 - AQ-OShaughnessy Reservoir Boat Dock - 9610 Riverside Drive, Powell, OH
Discover Boating A watercraft instruction camp that will teach basic sailing and canoeing skills at the OShaughnessy Reservoir. Open to children ages 10-18 years that have intermediate level swimming skills. Children will be taught basic nautical concepts and skills including boating safety, terminology, knot-tying, points of sail, and capsize recovery. Friday afternoon parents and family are welcomed to the camp to sail with their children and see what they have learned. All applicants must be able to jump into water over their head and float, swim or tread water for three minutes. All lifejackets and boating equipment is provided. Campers must pack a lunch. Refrigeration is provided. Classes run for one week, Monday through Friday from 10:30am till 3:30pm. Registrants may participate in multiple sessions. Space is limited. Inclement Weather: In the event of thunder or lightning, Campers will be called to dock immediately. Shelter and water safety videos and presentations will be utilized until the storm passes. Camp will not be cancelled. Transportation is provided with separate registration, but space is limited to the first twelve registrants. Pickup and dropoff is at the Columbus Aquatics Center (1160 Hunter Ave, 43201).
