Ballet has been an important part of American dance culture and has given rise to a number of world class ballet dancers. However, there were always those who rebelled against the rigidity in style and technique that ballet was known for. For them, the perfection of movements or the accuracy of beats were not as important as the freedom of expression through their dance moves.

KidSport Summer Fun - Afternoons Ages 4 - 6[] Each week kids do a variety of fitness, activities, games, team building and crafts and open swimming time. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology Campers bring snacks and water. Afternoons, Monday-Friday. Visit our Virtual Summer Camps Fair! Staff will collect your camper from your car at 1 PM and bring your camper to your car at 4:00 PM. According to the 2000 census, the county has a total area of 1,895.59 square miles , of which 1,866.76 square miles is land and 28.84 square miles is water.
