Summer Camp-Broward Center-Session 2 (ages 13-18) - Broward Center for the Performing Arts - 201 Southwest Fifth Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL
Broward Center - Session 2 Only (July 11, 2016-August 5, 2016) Advanced levels of study in voice and diction, character analysis, scene study, dialects, styles and methods. Show: Pippin Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield and the intrigues of political power. In the end, though, he finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day. Performance: Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. This camp is designed for campers who are ages 13 to 18 who are at a moderate level of experience. This camp is offered at Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Old Davie School only. Requirements: * Campers must be between 13 and 18 years of age (13 year-olds must be entering at least 8th grade in the fall). * Campers must fully participate in a 7 hour day, 4 week program. * Campers will have the opportunity to earn community service hours for assisting with younger campers. PLEASE NOTE: Online registration closes at noon on Friday before your camps start date. After online registration closes, you must register in person at the check in location.
