Hiking Summer Camps
There are many ways in which outdoor adventure – lovers can spend their time in order to fulfill their thirst for adventure. Hiking is just one of them. To enjoy hiking to its maximum limit, kids can enroll into hiking summer camps. These camps provide a great and challenging experience for the campers along with providing a great setting for meeting new people and making new friends. Although it is an adventurous sport, first – timers can join these camps too.




SUMMER CAMP NEWS:
Session I Boys Basketball - Cornerstone University - 1001 E. Beltline Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI
Grades 7-10 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (8:30pm). Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamentals and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration. If you prefer, you may also pack a dinner meal for each day or be picked up by your parents to go home/out for dinner. If you are an overnight camper you may be picked up and taken out/home for dinner if you choose, but dinner is covered in the camp cost.
